Tupac's Killer 'Revealed' By Former LAPD Detective On The Rapper's Birthday

Greg Kading, a former LAPD investigator, has spoken about the rapper's death, revealing that he believes the rap titan was shot by a name named Orlando "Baby" Anderson during the headline-making 1996 drive-by murder.

As per the former investigator's recent interview with Today Australia, Kading revealed that Anderson, a South Compton Crip gang member, shot the rapper after he was publicly beaten by members of the rapper's crew. "Anderson was the guy that Tupac had a fight with earlier that evening and he came back and retaliated with his crew," he said during the interview. "There’s really not much mystery behind these murders, even though there’s a bunch of conspiracy surrounding them."

Kading's interview echoes a widely familiar theory that goes beyond the former investigator. Tupac was only 25 at the time when he was hit with four bullets on September 7, 1996. Many believe that Tupac and his entourage beat up former gang member Keffe D's (Duane Keith Davis) nephew Anderson, so Davis and his associates drove around the Las Vegas strip when some shots "just came from the backseat" of his car. "All the chicks was like 'Tupac,' and he was like, 'Hey,' like a celebrity, like he was in a parade," Davis said in the USA Network's documentary, Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. "If he wouldn’t even have been out the window we would have never have seen him."

Anderson was detained by Los Angeles police in Compton a month after the shooting in an unrelated investigation but never charged for the murder of the rapper. He was later killed in a shootout at a Compton carwash in May 1998. Coincidentally, Kading's appearance on the Australian morning show occurred on what would have been the California rapper’s 48th birthday.
