Cardi B is coming to OnlyFans.
The “Press” rapper took to Twitter early this morning (August 3) to announce her partnership with the London-based content subscription service. "I’m doing a partnership with only fans," she revealed on Twitter. "Everytime some1 start a rumor I will be addressing it there .....what else should I post besides rumors and behind the scenes ? Maybe a video of me cleaning my home with my nails ?" (For some reason, she deleted the tweet hours later.)
Although the platform was created for users to offer exclusive content to their most devout followers, OnlyFans has become more or less a hot spot for users to engage in R-rated activities in their subscriptions.
However, Cardi won’t be participating in any of that.
The news comes hours after Cardi seemingly teased the announcement the night before when she posted a video of her wearing lingerie at home. “I GOT A ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE TOMORROW! Byeee,” she captioned the racy clip at the time, possibly alluding to her partnership with OnlyFans. (Though evidently, this isn’t the announcement she has in store.)
If you didn't know, plenty of celebrities are catching the OnlyFans wave, with Blac Chyna, Love & Hip-Hop stars Erica Mena and Safaree, and Real Housewives of New York's Dorinda Medley among the many to join the site. Heck, even Beyonce and Megan Thee Stallion rapped about the adult entertainment site on their “Savage” remix.
As yet, the specifics of Cardi's partnership with OnlyFans is unclear, and since she's walked back her announcement, only time will tell if the project will fall through or not.
