Tennessee Destination Crowned Among The 'Most Beautiful Places In The US'

America is full of breathtakingly beautiful natural scenery, from expansive forests stretching hundreds of miles along mountain ranges to wonders of nature that formed over millions of years into the awe-inspiring sights we know today to swaths of coastal shores offering views of the ocean as far as the eye can see.

Travel + Leisure compiled a list of the 50 "most beautiful places in the U.S.," detailing the most gorgeous spot in each state that showcases the true beauty of America. According to the list, the most beautiful place in Tennessee is Cherokee National Forest, an adventurous outdoor-lover's dream with over a half-million-acre forest that features hiking trails, whitewater rafting opportunities and more.
