The president was previously reported to have an average 44.3% approval rating and 52.5% disapproval rating for surveys conducted between December 9 and January 7.

Trump is reported to have a -11% spread in the latest I&I/TIPP poll; a -9% spread in the latest Rasmussen Reports poll; a -9% spread in the latest RMG Research** poll; a -18% spread in the latest CBS News poll; a -14% spread in the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll; a -12% spread in the latest Economist/YouGov poll; and a -5% spread in the latest Morning Consult poll.

Trump was reported to have net approval rating at around -13 entering 2026, according to famed polling expert Nate Silver in his Silver Bulletin blog.
